I answer my own mail.
No matter how much I travel, I will always be a fifth-generation native Houstonian, which is a rare credential in Space City. I work on Central time.
I travel often enough that email reaches me faster than a calendar invitation does, wherever I happen to be that week. Tell me what you need and when you need it, and I will tell you straight away whether I am the right person. If I am not the right person, I will tell you who is.
What helps: the deadline, the format, and one line on why you are asking me rather than somebody else. What does not: a meeting request with no agenda, and anything that opens by telling me how large the space economy is going to be by 2040.
